Colour calibration
This website has been developed according to ICC specifications. This means that the reliability of the colours is at the same level as high-end applications such as Photoshop. Nevertheless it does require proper calibration of your system. Depending on the quality of the calibration, the colour can be displayed extremely accurate. You can find free software for monitor calibration on calibrize.com. This website also offers extensive information about the calibration of printers etc. For colour gourmets: all colours on this website are displayed in sRGB (D65, gamma 2.2).

Submitting a photo

Uploading
To submit a photo you first need to upload it. You can do so by clicking 'upload photo' in your photo page. After uploading the photo will appear in a designated page where you can attach labels to all the parts that need to be coloured.

Pointing out the parts
After uploading you will see blank labels next to the photo. All labels can be dragged and placed where ever you like. Each label has bullets that can be dragged to show a specific spot. For instance, if the photo contains two doors, you can use one label and precisely point out the doors with a bullet for each door. However, because the two doors are attached to one label, both doors will always share the same colour. If the doors need different colours, you need to attach a label to each door. By default there are 7 labels at your disposal, which will suffice for most photos. but you can add as many labels as you like for an additional cost of 2,50 per label. Click the 'extra label' button to bring up an additional label. Please take care to use short names for the labels. 'Kitchen Door' is better than 'Door in the kitchen'. If the names are too long they will clutter the colour overview once you're colouring the photo.

Adding a remark
There's a 'remarks' field below the photo where you can post remarks and comments.

Submitting
When you are finished with the labels and instructions you can submit the photo. Submitting the photo is regarded as as a confirmation of order. You will receive a confirmation within 24 hours by email from our side with an invoice. The standard processing time is 4 working days. If you need it faster, please post your request in the 'remarks' field.
The invoice should be paid before the edited photo is delivered back to you, unless otherwise agreed. There is no commitment if you click "cancel".
After submitting the photo will visible next to the "Upload Photo" icon in your photo page. This way you have an overview of pending photos.
